Radish and Soft Cheese Salad

Radish and Fresh Cheese Salad is a tasty way to feed yourself and your family a bit of calcium 🙂

I did have some troubles finding a suitable fresh cheese for this recipe, it should be fresh white quark (russian: tvorog), neither cottage cheese nor cream cheese will work here.

So if you have the same problem finding quark style fresh cheese like I had, try local Russian / Ukrainian / Polish store, most probably they have it. Of course, you can also make homemade soft cheese yourself.

    Hi!
I am a native of Belarus and was looking through your site for some inspiration. I eat mostly raw/vegan for health reasons and didn’t find much here, even looking through the salads…. You have pretty pics and I really wanted to find something yum 🙂 here. Do you have anything vegan on here? It would be great if you helped me out with links 😉 If you’re interested, I thought Forks Over Knives was an informative and intriguing movie.

    • I am not vegan myself, so it is a bit hard for me to figure out what recipes on my website qualify for it. If you can give me some definition on what you are looking for (e.g. raw, no meat, no milk?, no eggs?, what else) I would be able to help you. But I don’t think there maybe many of these.

      Thank you for your question.
